1	The Scottish FA was formed in 1873. There are now 6,148 clubs playing in Scotland.
2	It was a Scottish Henry Morris, who become the first British player to score in a World Cup game, when he netted against Northen Ireland in 1950 qualifying group.
3	On April 27 1977, Scottish star Jim Craig scored on his debut without even kicking a ball. He came on as a sub and, with his first touch, headed home against Sweden.
4	Scotland's highest goalscorers are Denis Law, who scored 30 goals between 1958 and 1972, and Kenny Dalglish, who netted the same number between 1972 and 1984.
5	Scotland tried their luck abroad for the first time in 1929. It was a succesful trip as they thrashed Norway 7-3.
6	Scotland's biggest win was 11-0 over Northen Ireland in 1901.
7	Kenny Dalglish holds the honour of playing for his country the most times. He won 102 caps.
